Who is Linda Jackson?
Linda Jackson is an exemplary model of someone who has personal knowledge of the physical and emotional effects of breast cancer. Linda is determined to fully live her life dedicated to educating and comforting other survivors, their family and friends. She is a dynamic professional who easily communicates with all intellectual levels and shares her knowledge and compassion openly in an attempt to better educate about important issues faced by women following a breast cancer diagnosis.
A Passionate Leader
Linda's passion is to help women! She helps women reach their full potential in many ways. She promotes physical and emotional healing of breast cancer survivors so they may return to their active personal and professional lives; and she provides unlimited specialty training and guidance for women who wish to become post mastectomy fitters or owners of post mastectomy businesses.
She is an international leader in the design, development and manufacturing of post mastectomy products which restore shape, provide comfort and offer protection to post mastectomy patients, thus allowing them to leave the hospital with hope, reassurance and dignity.
Linda assists breast care professionals in building successful and rewarding post mastectomy businesses. She also provides guidance for 'Securing HMO/PPO contracts' and provides post mastectomy product training.
An Educator & Pioneer
Linda is well versed and outspoken about the physical and emotional needs of breast cancer patients. She educates the medical community throughout the world from her personal experiences regarding the psychosocial issues women face.
Linda pioneered a new medical market, by designing and manufacturing the first post surgical prosthetic camisole (SOFTEE®) to be worn home from the hospital, immediately after surgery. She was the first to approach Medicare and win approval for reimbursement on her post mastectomy recovery camisole. She worked hard to bring attention to the medical community and government leaders about the physical and emotional importance of addressing immediate recovery products for women who have had breast cancer.
She has been a featured speaker at Breast Self Examination classes, made presentations to support groups, healthcare professionals, corporations, women's organizations, hospitals and health workshops. Linda is a frequent resource for print media as a respected authority on breast cancer survival and product education.
Linda's life is dedicated to promoting recovery after breast cancer surgery and long term survival, which includes educating the patient, nurse, surgeon, retailer and general public. She receives correspondence every day from women thanking her for her product integrity, personal insight, providing dignity and hope; and addressing their immediate recovery needs. Many women express gratitude that they were able to return to work and everyday activities more quickly because of Linda's specialty garments. Many just thank her for her passion to their 'cause.'
